You're 10 minutes from your first live session

Step 1 — Get your two free API keys

ScriptPin needs two free keys to work — one for listening (Deepgram), one for thinking (Anthropic). Both are free to start.

Deepgram — speech to text (the "ears")

Go to console.deepgram.com/signup
Sign up free — $200 credit, no card required.
Once in: API Keys → Create a new API key → copy the key.

Anthropic — AI answers (the "brain")

Go to console.anthropic.com
Sign up → Settings → API Keys → Create Key → copy the key immediately — it's shown only once.
Add a small credit ($5–10) to activate it.

⚠ Copy both keys now and paste them somewhere safe — you'll need them in Step 3.

Step 2 — Install ScriptPin

Go to scriptpin.com/account → enter your email → click the magic link in your inbox.

Download your installer

Click Download for Windows next to your license. Save the .exe file.

If your browser says “ScriptPin-Setup… isn’t commonly downloaded” — that’s normal for a newly released app. Click the … (three dots) or hover the warning and choose Keep to finish the download. The file is safe; this notice just means the installer is new and hasn’t built download history yet.

Install the app

Double-click the .exe to install.

Windows security prompt — if you see "Windows protected your PC", click More info → Run anyway. ScriptPin is code-signed, but Windows SmartScreen shows this one-time notice for newly released apps until they build download reputation. It’s safe to run.

Open ScriptPin

Double-click ScriptPin in Applications. It will appear as a small overlay — not in your Dock.

Step 3 — Activate your license

Enter your license key

Click ⚙ Settings in ScriptPin → License tab → paste your key → Activate.
Your key was in your purchase confirmation email. Check scriptpin.com/account if you can't find it.

Step 4 — Enter your API keys

Open Keys settings

Click the 🔑 Keys button in ScriptPin → paste your Deepgram key → paste your Anthropic key → Save.

✓ You only do this once — ScriptPin remembers your keys.

Step 5 — Run your first session

Grant microphone + screen permissions

On first launch ScriptPin will ask for Microphone and Screen Recording access. Grant both — these are required for transcription.

Start your meeting/interview

Open Zoom, Teams, or any meeting app. Then click ▶ Start in ScriptPin. You'll see transcription begin within a few seconds.

Let it work

ScriptPin listens, answers questions, and takes notes automatically. Hit ■ Stop when done — your session is saved.

What's new in v3.1.2

📚 Knowledge tab — paste your own facts (ground truth) and click ⚡ Deepen to have the AI build an expert-level briefing on whatever's being discussed. Both feed into your answers.
